Y: the Sources of Islamic Revolutionary Conduct

In Part I, the author explores the American intellectual pedigree and why it tends to constrain strategicanalysis. In Part II, Lambert compares and contrast the core doctrines of Christianity and Islam. The rich theological doctrines of these two religions have yielded undeniable political and historical imperatives. My aim is to show why those imperatives result in significantly different outcomes and that those outcomes have strategic consequences. Part II may seem lengthy; the reader is encouraged to persevere-Part II contains the raw data that form the essential foundation upon which Parts III and IV are based. After establishing this working understanding of Islamic doctrine and its political and historical imperatives, the author then attempts to capture the mindset of the broader Islamic faithful in Part III. After analyzing the collective mind of the broader Islamic faithful, the author I then focuses on the mind of our avowed enemies in Part IV. Finally in Part V, the author offers some ideas about how to return to strategic insight. He concludes with 7 propositions that are aimed at achieving strategic clarity.
